Meet Dr. Lani Lim

Dr. Lim is a Philadelphia native who received a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences and a minor in Music Performance (Cello) from the Pennsylvania State University Schreyer Honors College. At Penn State, she became interested in dentistry through her interests in science, the arts, and mentoring from her childhood dentist. She received a D.M.D from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in Portland, Maine in 2019. She went on to complete her Prosthodontic Residency at Texas A&M (Baylor) College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas to further her training in complex restorative and implant dentistry as well as cosmetic dentistry.

In her free time, Dr. Lim enjoys traveling and has been to 15 countries and 35 states and hopes to join the All Fifty States Club by age 50. She especially loves visiting Hawaii and National Parks. Dr. Lim has been to Grand Canyon, Carlsbad Caverns, Yosemite, Sequoia, Arches, Shenandoah, Haleakala, and Joshua Tree National Parks and hopes to visit all 63 National Parks by age 63!

Dr. Lim has always wanted to live somewhere warm and sunny (thanks to her PTSD from living in the Northeast most of her life) so she is very excited to put down roots in Arizona and looks forward to being a part of the community.

Dr. Lim is known for her creativity and positive energy. She is also passionate about public health and mission work and has used her dental training to provide care for those in need in Vermont and Cambodia.

Dr. Lim looks forward to meeting you and providing excellent specialty dental services at AZ Family Dental. With her warm and caring personality, she makes it her priority to ensure all of her patients are comfortable and educated about their comprehensive dental treatment.
